Reunion Lunch

Last Sunday, we went for a reunion lunch at Bartak with JJ's, Cheryl's and Yun Li's family.

JJ was playing Jesslyn's iPod as she had just downloaded many new games. Our first two dishes were fried rice and soup. While waiting for the next dish to be served, we played some games. JJ and I played with my father's iPhone. When we finished playing a game JJ went to take some notes about the shop for his blog. Next, the spaghetti was served and it was mouth-watering. However I only ate a little as I was as full as an egg. I continued to play with my father's iPhone.

I had my 8th reunion lunch and I enjoyed it very much.

Singapore Youth Festival Competition 2012

Last Friday, my parents received a letter on Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Competition 2012. I was selected to participate in the SFY Chinese Orchestra Competition next year. So, I better work hard on my Chinese bamboo flute so that I will make my school proud.

On Friday, all the teachers and the conductor did not turned up for Chinese Orchestra (CO) practise session. We spent our time cleaning the CO Room. After that, 陈老师 let us watch the movie "Clash of The Titans". It was a nice movie.

Yesterday, I went to Neo Garden Restaurant with Jowell and Zhong Han to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. The food were appetizing. Jowell did not eat much as he was allergy to prawn. As I knew where was the toilet, Jowell asked me to bring him there after his dinner. I love all the food especially the pork floss prawn. It was so mouth-watering that I wished to eat it everyday.

I had the most delicious dinner in my life!

First Day of Primary 2

Two days ago was my first day of Primary 2. My classroom remains unchanged.

I was ecstatic when I met all my friends again! I missed Yu An alot during the school holiday. I was glad to be able to see him again. Yu An and I played some games such as catching and running during recess. I told Yu An that I will bring my ball to school the next day so that we can play together. I also had scrumptious Japanese rice for breakfast.

I had set some goals for this year. They were:

1. Hug my parents 7 times every week.
2. Help to do housework 3 times every week.
3. Go to the school library 2 times every week.
4. Make 4 new friends this week.
5. Read 7 new books every week.

I will put in effort to achieve these goals.

I had a joyful day at Catholic High again!

Zoo Visit With Jerrell

Just now, I went to Singapore Zoo with Jerrell. We saw many animals there.

We took a tram to watch the Elephant Show. Jerrell kept repeating that his favourite animal was an elephant. Everyone was irritated by him. Next, we travelled to watch the Rainforest Fight-Back Show. Although it was just a 20 minutes show, Jerrell and I enjoyed it very much as it was very interesting. We saw the jaguar and it had many spots on it! I discovered that a jaguar can actually swim. Then we went to the Wet Play which was beside the reservoir. It was very fun especially the tunnel slide.

While we were at the zoo, my father kept scolding Jerrell for being mischievous. We ended the trip by having late lunch at KFC. I had a beautiful day with the mischievous Jerrell.

Christmas Eve Christmas Day

Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas at Cheryl's house. All the children gathered at Cheryl's room and played lots of games. JJ was always the leader.

The food were very delicious especially the soup. After dinner, I played a football match on Cheryl's PSP. I played against Chelsea and my team was Manchester United. It was very interesting when the score was 3-3.

When all the adults finished their dinner, we can finally unwrapped our presents. I received many wonderful Christmas presents. I like them very much.

It was a merry occassion at Cheryl,s house.

May Way - Hospital

Last Sunday, my sister fell from the bed and vomited several times. My father rushed to check whether the Bishan Family Doctor Clinic was still opened. Unfortunately, it was closed, so we had to go to KK Hospital.

It was cold there and luckily my mother brought my jacket. May Way was scared at first but I calmed her down. She could not have any food or drink for 2 hours! But my father, mother and I secretly had McDonald's fast food for late dinner. When 2 hours had passed, we allowed May Way to have mushroom and chicken toasted bread after the doctor examined her.

I hope May Way will stay healthy.

Lim Chu Kang Garden

Yesterday, I went to my mother's uncle's garden at Lim Chu Kang for barbecue dinner with Jowell, Zhong Han and some of my maternal relatives.

The garden has a big pond with many koi in it. I like all of the koi especially the big white one as it kept swimming towards me. So, I fed the white koi with fish food. At first, I did not dare to touch the koi but uncle told me to be brave. I finally have the courage to touch the fish and it feels slimmy. I let it sucked my index finger as it is toothless.

We had satays, chicken wings, sotongs, sausages and otahs. My father barbecued them and it was so delicious. After dinner, we sat on an old wobbly wooden swing. I felt a little giddy but it was still enjoyable. Next, we lighted up some firecrackers. Both Jowell and I love to play with firecrackers as we can make different shapes and patterns with it.

I had a fruitful day at the garden.
